Accordingly, the 2024 National Youth Chess Championship is held from May 24 to June 5 at the Bac Giang Provincial Sports Stadium, Southern Urban Area, Bac Giang city.

The competition content is run by the Vietnam Chess Federation according to its Charter. Athletes compete in individual men's, women's, men's, and women's team prizes in 4 groups: Standard chess, traditional chess, rapid chess, and blitz chess.

To organize the competition successfully, the Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to be the standing agency and proactively coordinate with the Bureau of Sports and Physical Training, the Vietnam Chess Federation and relevant local departments and sectors to implement the organization of the competition. Provincial police ensure security and safety of competition venues and accommodation of athlete delegations during the competition.

The People's Committee of Bac Giang city directs urban beautification and propaganda decoration on some main roads near the entrance area to the Provincial Sports Stadium. Direct relevant units to arrange a tanding Urban Order Team at the Provincial Sports Stadium to ensure regional security and safety during the competition organization.
