He emphasized, Bac Giang has many potentials and advantages in terms of geographical location, natural area, and human resources. Attracting FDI is in the top 10 leading provinces and cities nationwide. The government system and administrative agencies always aim to satisfy, best serve people and businesses. In recent years, Bac Giang has paid great attention to promoting foreign relations, considering it an important resource to promote development. Singapore currently has 16 FDI projects with a total registered capital of nearly 1 billion USD, ranking fourth in terms of total registered capital among 25 countries and territories; ranked 5th out of 27 countries investing in Bac Giang. However, this number is still modest compared to the potential of the province.

Identifying Singapore's investors as one of the top priority partners, Bac Giang province continues to implement many solutions to welcome the investment wave from Singaporean businesses. Investment prospects in Bac Giang still have a lot of room for development, the province is committed to creating favorable conditions for investment activities of foreign investors, especially Singaporean investors.

At the same time, sharing experiences and supporting Bac Giang in developing innovation centers, smart cities, digital transformation, technology Industry 4.0, thereby tightening the friendship relationship between Singapore and Bac Giang province.

Introducing the development strategy of the province in the coming time, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Anh Duong said, with the advantages of geographical location, labor, and tectonic government, Bac Giang aims to move strongly towards industrialization and modernization; is the first province in the country to be approved by the Prime Minister of the Provincial Planning for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. Bac Giang's point of view is "Fast and sustainable development based on 3 pillars: “Economy, society and environment”.

He also said that in the coming time, there are four areas that Bac Giang will focus on developing, including: Developing 20 new industrial parks with an area of ​​​​about 10,000 hectares. The focus is on attracting environmentally friendly processing and manufacturing industries. Focusing on ecosystems in the direction of industrial - urban - service zones. This model is currently being pioneered by CapitaLand Group (Singapore).

Focusing on strongly developing the field of trade - services, according to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, this field, Bac Giang is still modest, there is no logistics system (providing services, transporting goods to customers).

In the future, Bac Giang will have many foreign experts come to live and work, so it is necessary to have high-class services such as hotels and large-scale commercial centers. Bac Giang has planned the largest export fruit tree production area in the North. However, the province is still limited in exporting agricultural products with fresh products. Chairman Le Anh Duong added that recently, within the framework of the delegation of President Nguyen Xuan Phuc during a state visit to Singapore, he presented a memorandum of understanding and investment certificates to Singaporean investors with a total capital of nearly 3.6 billion USD. In which, CapitaLand Group invests in industrial parks, logistics and urban areas with a total capital of about 1 billion USD. This is a new development in the cooperation relationship between Bac Giang and Singapore.
