Bac Giang: 100% of petroleum businesses issue electronic invoices

To complete the goal of issuing e-invoices for each retail gasoline and oil sale before March 31, 2024, from December 2023, the Department of Industry and Trade has presided over and coordinated with the Provincial Tax Department to organize training, propaganda, popularize legal regulations on petroleum business; guide the implementation of e-invoice preparation for each sale and connect data with tax authorities for all petroleum retail businesses in the province. Coordinate with the Provincial Tax Department to invite businesses to provide solutions (equipment, connection software, etc.) to directly advise and guide businesses with petroleum retail stores to grasp and apply the establishment of electronic invoice for each sale and data connection with tax authorities. At the same time, a working group was established to urge and supervise the implementation of e-invoices for each sale at petroleum retail stores in the province, etc.

By the end of March 2024, the whole province has 316 stores implementing e-invoices for each sale and connecting data with tax authorities, reaching 100% of stores operating in the province, including 293 stores of registered enterprises in the province and 23 petroleum stores owned by businesses outside the province.

In the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade continues to coordinate closely with the Provincial Tax Department and relevant departments and sectors to strengthen, urge, supervise and inspect the implementation of regulations on e-invoices and provide e-invoice data according to regulations. Timely resolve arising difficulties and problems. At the same time, service providers are required to regularly and promptly support petroleum businesses in case equipment or software solutions encounter problems or incidents.
