Attending the program were Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung; Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son; leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Labor Confederation, and Viet Yen district-level town; representatives of a number of units, businesses and a large number of officials, union members and workers of businesses in the province's industrial zones and in Viet Yen district-level town.

The program had the participation of 32 business units, cooperatives, business households, and partners inside and outside the province with a total of 60 booths displaying mainly consumer goods, household appliances, clean agricultural products, typical local products, OCOP products, etc. produced in Vietnam with the goal of helping union members and workers access, purchase and use goods and products with discounts to practically take care of the material and spiritual benefits of union members and workers, contributing to the effective implementation of the welfare program for union members and workers.

Opening the program, Chairman of the Provincial Confederation of Labor Nguyen Van Canh said that in recent years, the emulation movement among workers, civil servants and laborers of Bac Giang province had been widely deployed by all levels of trade unions in the province, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate. Many typical labor examples emerging from production labor had been recognized, praised and rewarded by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Confederation of Labor.

The 13th Workers' Month in 2024 was determined by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with the "Worker Solidarity - Resolution Deployment" theme associated with the continued implementation of the Party's 13th Congress Resolution, being of utmost significance as this was the first year of implementing the Resolutions of Trade Union Congresses at all levels and the Resolution of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Unions. Therefore, he requested cadres, union members, workers, civil servants, laborers and trade unions at all levels in the province to continue to propagate and deeply grasp President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on patriotic emulation, the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws on emulation and rewards, plans to organize activities and emulation programs of trade unions. Promote the patriotic emulation movement among union members and workers, promote the tradition of solidarity, contribute to building Bac Giang province for rapid and sustainable development, concretize the theme of emulation into emulation movements appropriate to the actual conditions of the locality and unit.

In addition, mobilize union members and workers to actively, dynamically and creatively implement digital transformation programs at all union levels, promote initiatives, technical improvements, promote research. Apply scientific and technical advances to production. Focus on directing and continuing to organize and well implement Resolution No. 02 of the Politburo on innovating the organization and operations of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation. Encourage employers and employees to unite, share, and be creative in production with a spirit of enthusiastic work, stabilizing production and ensuring jobs and income for workers. Continue to promote charitable social activities, cultural and sports activities to take care of the spiritual life of union members and workers in association with developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, building a strong trade union organization.

In 2024, the National Week of Clean Water and Environmental Sanitation was selected with the "Ensure clean, safe water supply, adapt to climate change" theme, so he requested all levels of trade unions, union members and workers in the province uphold a sense of responsibility. Mobilize and propagate family, friends, and relatives to protect the environment, protect water sources as well as participate in monitoring, managing, and using clean water projects effectively and sustainably. Participate in cleaning village roads, alleys, agencies, units, and businesses, building a civilized lifestyle and cultural families associated with the movement of all people to build new rural areas.

It was known that the 7th "Booth for Workers" Program in 2024 took place in 3 days (from April 20 to April 22, 2024) at Than Nhan Trung Square, Viet Yen district-level town. Within the framework of the Program, there were activities: Honoring and rewarding 138 outstanding workers in all fields; awarding financial support to build "Trade Union Warm" houses for 12 union members and workers in difficult circumstances with support level from 25 - 40 million VND; organizing the summary and awarding of the 2024 "Charming Ao Dai" photo contest on Facebook; organizing the "Sing for the workers - Listen to the workers sing" program; folk dance and dance competitions; Lucky Draw; legal advice; issuing 6,000 discount vouchers (50,000 VND/voucher) and 2,000 vouchers at 0 VND for union members, workers, etc. to practically take care of the material and spiritual benefits of union members and workers, contributing to the effective implementation of the Welfare Program for union members and workers on the occasion of Workers' Month 2024./.
