On the morning of May 21, Yen The Mountain Vocational School (Bac Giang) held a ceremony to receive the Third-class Labor Medal, announce the decision to establish Bac Giang Mountain College and celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Attending the ceremony were Dr. Truong Anh Dung - Director General of the Directorate Of Vocational Education, Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Mr. Mai Son - Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan - Member of the National Assembly, Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture; Dr. Dang Quyet Thang - Rector of Nam Dinh University Of Technology Education; leaders of specialized faculties of Hung Yen University of Technology and Education; along with representatives of departments, agencies, branches and leaders of Yen The district.

In order to implement the policy of focusing on training high-quality human resources for industries, effectively implementing socio-economic development programs in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, raising income sustainable poverty reduction, narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor among regions, regions and ethnic groups in the province. Over the years, Yen The Mountain Vocational School has always tried its best to train new generations. The student system is ethical, rich in knowledge and skilled.

After 20 years of operation (from 2002 to 2022), the school has gradually affirmed its training capacity. The results of vocational secondary school graduation and high school graduation results are from 98 to 100%. The annual enrollment is exceeding the target. More than 90% of students have jobs in their respective fields of training right after graduation, the rest continue to study to a higher level, perform military service or do other jobs...

With the achievements in performing the task of training and providing human resources for the locality over the past 20 years, Yen The Mountain Vocational School has been awarded the Third-class Labor Medal by the President, raising from Yen The Mountain Vocational School to Bac Giang Mountain College.

After 20 years of establishment and development, the school now has 4 functional rooms, 5 specialized faculties including: Faculty of Basics, Fashion Sewing, Electrical - Electronics, Mechanics - Dynamic, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine with a total of 80 teachers and workers. The school performs the function and task of organizing training of direct technical human resources in production and services at intermediate vocational, elementary and regular vocational training levels in order to equip learners with vocational practice capacity commensurate with their training level; in line with national occupational skill standards.

In parallel with Vocational Education, the school conducts training in the cultural program of the Continuing Education system at the high school level for subjects after graduating from secondary school. Currently, Yen The Mountain Vocational School is training 10 intermediate occupations, in which there are 5 key national occupations including: Industrial electronics, Welding, Automotive technology, fashion sewing and veterinary; 10 occupations of primary education system and teaching culture of continuing education system. The number of students currently training with the Vocational Intermediate system is 59 classes with more than 1.6 thousand students; The secondary education system at the high school level is 24 classes with more than 1,000 students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son praised and congratulated the school's achievements in recent years. In the initial stage of implementing the mission of a college, there are many opportunities but also many difficulties and challenges that the school will have to face. Therefore, in the coming time, he suggested that the school should raise awareness of the new position, role, function and task of the university, soon stabilize the organizational structure according to the College's Charter; ensure the maintenance of political stability, internal solidarity, to create strength to successfully perform assigned tasks.

Building, renovating, standardizing training contents, programs and processes close to the target audience, gradually building and completing the school's education and training development strategy to meet the standard requirements. output; diversify training types, innovate teaching methods, test methods to ensure training quality to better meet the needs of society. Strengthening the building of a contingent of leaders, managers, lecturers and teachers in terms of quantity, quality and structure; meet the standards of professional qualifications, pedagogical skills, practical capacity, foreign languages, and informatics; have ethical qualities and a professional conscience. Promote the application of information technology in teaching and modernize school management.
