Bac Giang is characterized by a rich culture and diversity, is gathered and expressed through the life, customs and traditions of each ethnic community; expression through folk religious activities, religious beliefs in traditional festivals.

 Village Festival existed for thousands of years with the rituals, the content and form, but the main purpose of its own festivals to help the unity and solidarity of the village community, traditional cultural education, tourism history, tradition against invasion, the tradition of academic, career development. Annually, Bac Giang has over 500 traditional festivals are held; some typical festivals in Bac Giang as: Yen The festival; Xuong Giang festival; SuoiMo festival; Tho Ha festival; La Pagoda Festival (Vinh Nghiem) ...

Bac Giang has thousands of unique ancient architectures with many different types of temples, pagodas, temples, covered halls, documents ... According to statistics, surveys, up to 11/2010, there were about 2,237 historical - cultural and scenics in Bac Giang province. Among them, 492 monuments of all kinds were documented and legal sciences ratings (109 relics ranking national, 383 provincial-level relics ratings). In total 2237 monuments of all kinds are distributed in the districts and cities as follows: Son Dong: 24 monuments; Luc Ngan: 173; Luc Nam: 263; Lang Giang: 237; Yen The: 109; Tan Yen: 347; Hiep Hoa: 385; Viet Yen: 331; Yen Dung: 318; Bac Giang city: 50 monuments. The highlight is the ancient vestiges Xuong Giang; Yen The famers insurrection ruins Relic; revolutionary relic of Hoang Van, relic of Y Son (Hiep Hoa); thousand years old tree of Da Huong (Lang Giang), woodblocks storage of more than 3,000 copies held at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda (Yen Dung) was officially recognized as a Heritage Data of Asia - Pacific area (16/5 /2012 in Bangkok, Thailand)

Bac Giang is home to treasure rich folk arts such as mythology stories, fairy tales, legends, anecdotes, jokes, proverbs, folk, trong quan, quan ho, ca tru and ethnic minorities folk. Quan ho and Ca tru were recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Bac Giang has many beautiful natural landscapes such as Suoi Mo Scenic Area (Luc Nam); Cam Son Lake, Khuon Than Lake (Luc Ngan); Primary forest Khe Ro, Tay Yen Tu (Son Dong district) with the rich, diverse fauna and flora, including many rare creatures in the Vietnam Red Book is being preserved, ... it is favorable conditions for Bac Giang develope many types of tourism.../.
