Focus on implementing the month of general cleaning, disinfection and environmental detoxification

On February 26, 2014, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le O Pich signed Official Dispatch No. 888/UBND-NN on implementing the first month of general cleaning, disinfection and environmental detoxification in 2024.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requests the Chairman of the People's Committees of districts, the city and the district-level town to launch and implement the Month of general cleaning, disinfection and environmental detoxification to prevent and control African Swine Fever from March 1, 2024 to March 31, 2024 in the area timely and effectively.

In addition to the province's support, districts, the city and the district-level town proactively allocate funds to purchase chemicals, supplies and other costs to properly implement the month of cleaning, disinfection and environmental detoxification. Direct the People's Committees of communes and towns to establish cleaning groups and teams to spray disinfectants in household livestock areas, public places, village roads, old outbreaks, and animal trading markets, etc. Cattle and poultry farms, hatcheries, slaughterhouses, breed production and business establishments proactively prepare materials and funds to carry out cleaning, disinfection and detoxification at facilities and nearby areas. Strengthen inspection and strict supervision of disease situation in livestock herds, organize vaccinations according to regulations and instructions of specialized agencies.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development presides, coordinates and guides localities in the province to carry out the month of general cleaning, disinfection and detoxification of the livestock environment and measures to prevent and control diseases in livestock farming. Direct the Division of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine to strengthen management and strict supervision of the pandemic situation in the province, quickly detect and promptly handle cases of diseased livestock, and prevent the disease from spreading. Coordinate with media agencies and localities to increase propaganda information and update the pandemic situation so that people can understand and be proactive in pandemic prevention and control.

Implement campaigns and support the construction and removal of temporary and dilapidated houses

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of Steering Committee 714 signed Plan No. 38/KH-BCD dated February 26, 2024 to implement advocacy and support the construction and removal of temporary houses and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households and support families of people with meritorious service having difficulty finding housing, degraded houses that need to be repaired or newly built in Bac Giang province.

Implement vocational education and job creation

On February 27, 2024, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Vocational Education and Job Creation Mai Son signed Plan No. 40/KH-BCD to deploy vocational education and create jobs in Bac Giang province in 2024.

Accordingly, direct provincial departments, sectors, People's Committees of districts, the city, the district-level town, relevant agencies and units to successfully complete vocational education targets and create jobs in 2024. In particular, the whole province creates jobs for 32,200 workers, including 1,800 people to work abroad under contracts. Vocational education establishments and vocational education establishments operating in the province enroll and provide vocational training for 30,000 people. The rate of vocationally trained workers in the whole province reaches 78.0%; of which, the rate of workers being trained for 3 months or more with diplomas and certificates recognizing training results reaches 34.0%. Implement measures to prevent animal rabies

Promptly advise the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Human Rights Steering Committee with effective policies and measures.

Continue to direct innovation and diversify forms of propaganda about achievements in ensuring human rights and fight against false and distorted information about democracy, human rights, ethnicity and religion on mass media, special foreign affairs channels in cyberspace.

Pay attention to good implementation of policies for sensitive and vulnerable groups, people with meritorious services, religions and ethnic groups.

Prevent and control drug among youth and adolescents by 2030

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 43/KH-UBND dated February 29, 2024 to implement the Drug Prevention and Control Program among youth and adolescents until 2030.

The plan sets the goal of preventing, stopping, and repelling crime and drug abuse among young people; reducing the number of young people and teenagers illegally using drugs, becoming addicted to drugs, and violating drug laws every year.

To achieve the set goals, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requests agencies, units and localities to strengthen leadership and direction; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of drug prevention and control among youth and adolescents.
