With strong development in terms of quantity and turnover of export goods in the recent years, garment industry has confirmed its position of being a leading industry of the province. In 2008, the total export turnover of the province reaches 168.1 million USD in which turnover of the garment industry accouts for 78.4% of total export turnover of 131.8 million USD with 152 million products. With modern equipments and quality control system of ISO 9001:2000, SA 8000; main products such as shirt, jacket, hat, trousers, dress, vest, jeans,… exported to such markets as Europe, America, Canada, Korea, Japan, Australia, Hongkong, Mexico, Taiwan, Newzealand… Every year, Garment industry of Bac Giang province attracts millions of labour and currently in the province, there area approximate 20 garment enterprises which are operating.
