At the meeting, Mr. Jason Leow - CEO of CapitaLand Development thanked for the thoughtful welcome of the leaders of Bac Giang province. Especially, the province has created favorable conditions for the Group to implement the Tien Son - Ninh Son Industrial - Urban - Service Zone Project, Viet Yen District (Bac Giang) in the past time. At the same time, this is the largest scale project of the Group in Vietnam. Thanks to the attention and help of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, especially the Working Group to carry out the work related to the project established by the province, the Group is very confident in implementing the project.

Mr. Jason Leow hopes, in 2023, the Group will start this project. This will be very meaningful when 2023 is also the year Singapore and Vietnam celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Duong Van Thai expressed his pleasure to receive the delegation and thanked the Group for its investment in Bac Giang. At the same time, introduce the potential and strengths of Bac Giang province. He shared, Bac Giang is the first province in the country to be approved by the Prime Minister of the Provincial Planning for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. The provincial plan also clearly shows the socio-economic development space according to 3 economic regions, based on advantages, potentials and development linkages. Bac Giang province has identified 10 main gateways connecting with the province based on spatial arrangement, inter-regional traffic connection with provinces, border gates, airports and seaports. These will be areas with concentrated planning and investment in main traffic axes, general service areas, transportation, warehousing and logistics to take advantage of and promote the advantages of the province. With the goal of becoming a modern industrial province and an industrial development center of the region, the province has planned more than 10,000 hectares of land for industrial development for the next 10 years.

Orientation of Bac Giang will strongly develop diversified, modern and sustainable service industries, develop breakthroughs in a number of services with potential and advantages, and a highly competitive service industry, making Bac Giang a gateway to the future. gateway, the center of goods transshipment, transportation, warehousing, logistics and trade in the region, synchronously developing production services, social services and public services... and become the golf center of the country, along with 3 existing golf courses, by 2030, the province will have 13 golf courses; planning 12 general function zones of golf courses and convalescence, amusement and entertainment to meet the needs of relaxation and golfing of foreign experts working in industrial parks in the province and provinces. Neighborhoods and tourists... Striving to 2030, Bac Giang becomes an industrial province in the direction of modernity, GRDP scale ranks among the top 15 provinces and cities in the country and the top in the Northern Midlands and Mountains. Currently, Bac Giang is continuing to improve transport infrastructure, electricity, water and some other essential service infrastructure to serve industrial, urban and logistics development.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Duong Van Thai hopes to open a conference to promote investment attraction in Bac Giang in Singapore in July with the participation and support of CapitaLand Development. He emphasized that in order to achieve the above goal, the parties must try harder. When having problems, the Group should immediately notify the Working Group for timely resolution.
