In recent years, Bac Giang's economy has had a strong development, its scale and economic potential have been significantly improved. The economic growth rate is always in the top provinces of the country and the region, the average period of 2016-2020 is 13.9%; GRDP scale ranks 16th out of 63 provinces and cities.

In order to attract investment, in recent years Bac Giang has devoted a great deal of resources to the development of transport infrastructure, considering traffic development as a driving force for the province to make a breakthrough in attracting investment and developing socio-economic. The province also proposed many solutions, promptly issued policies, removed difficulties and obstacles to improve the efficiency of attracting investment capital.

In addition to solutions to promote investment attraction, the province also attaches great importance to the issue of sustainable development, so in the current period the province also has the choice and purification of partners, say no to projects with a high risk of polluting each school; the province also calculates the level of budget contribution of enterprises to the locality; For the textile and garment sector, the province has a policy of approving investment for businesses in mountainous areas.

Emphasizing the role of the government with businesses, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Anh Duong shared that when businesses and investors come to do registration procedures, the province always sets a goal to help businesses complete procedures faster than the prescribed time. With the motto "Fast and transparent procedures, smooth guidance", "the government reminds investors, does not let investors push the government", therefore, the province established a Working Group to guide and support businesses in a timely manner during the implementation of large projects; For each deployed project, the province directs investors to make a progress chart to monitor with the enterprise to ensure the correct project progress requirements.

Answering the question "how to retain businesses", Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Anh Duong shared that he wanted businesses to stay in the province for a long time and continue to expand production scale, in addition to preferential policies. Provincial leaders also regularly organize meetings and dialogues with businesses; establish a hotline directly in charge of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for enterprises to reflect and promptly remove difficulties and problems of enterprises.

The current occupancy rate of industrial parks in the province is increasing, along with identifying industry as the driving force for development, so the province also considers setting aside land fund for further expansion. industrial zones and clusters. The province has been planned by the Prime Minister to establish 29 industrial parks, with a total area of ​​about 7,000 ha, of which 09 industrial parks have been established and are being implemented; 50 industrial clusters, with a total area of ​​over 3,000 hectares, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Anh Duong added.

With the aspiration to develop, in addition to the policy of attracting investment, Bac Giang also regularly promotes trade and investment promotion activities, promotes Bac Giang's tourism through international organizations and business associations. industry at home and abroad. Bac Giang also establishes diplomatic relations with countries such as Japan, Korea, Singapore ... in culture, education, training high-quality human resources for businesses.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Dong Van Thanh said that Hau Giang started as an agricultural province, with the lowest economic scale among the provinces in the Mekong Delta. With the determination to renew thinking and create motivation for development, the Resolution of the Party Congress of Hau Giang province for the 2020-2025 term identifies four main economic pillars of industry, urban areas, agriculture and tourism.

Currently, there are only 2 industrial parks in the province, attracting 72 projects with a total investment of more than USD 3.8 billion and VND 74,000 billion, mainly focusing on seafood processing industries. In 2021, contributing VND 1,000 billion to the budget... Oriented to 2030, Hau Giang will establish 8 new concentrated industrial parks.

In order to realize this goal, Hau Giang province hopes that the business trip will help the province gain more experience in planning industrial parks, urban areas and worker housing, and organize effective investment promotion.
