2. Agriculture, forestry and fishery production:

Agricultural production is stable, ensuring progress; The value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production (2010 prices) is estimated at VND 5,060 billion, equaling 100.9% over the same period.

Total cultivated area reached about 66,145 hectares, reaching 88.0% of the plan; in which transplanted rice reached 47,110 ha, reaching 93.4% of the plan. The situation of pests and diseases is controlled, the crops grow stably. Production of lychee in quite favorable conditions, currently the tea cloths are at the time of flowering, the flowering rate is about 95%, twice that of 2017.

In the area where there is no dangerous epidemic, the price of livestock products is relatively stable, the authorities are mobilizing and supporting people to re-herd.

Localities and units are actively preparing for the afforestation work according to the plan, so far the province has planted over 34,000 dispersed trees and 267 hectares of concentrated forests.

3. Trade, service, finance, banking

Trade in services changed positively, production value of the service sector (2010 price) was estimated at VND 5,170 billion, up 8.3% over the same period, reaching 20.9% of the plan. Total retail sales of goods and services in March were estimated at VND 2,005 billion, up 13.8%; 3 months is estimated at VND 6,070 billion, up 14.4% over the same period.

Import and export value increased significantly over the same period. As of March 15, 2018, the export value is estimated at 1,225 million USD, equaling 15.7% of the plan, up 13.4%; Import value is estimated at 1,290 million USD, equaling 17.2% of the plan, up 12.7%.

Banking activities continued to flourish, total capital mobilization and credit balance grew quite well. As of March 31, 2018, the total mobilized capital in the province is estimated at VND 41,500 billion, up 4.8%; outstanding loans were estimated at VND 39,500 billion, up 1.7%.

4. About development investment:

In the first 3 months of the year, the whole province has issued and adjusted for 63 projects with total new and additional registered capital reaching 498 billion and 151.3 million USD. In which, 40 newly licensed domestic investment projects registered capital of 498 billion VND, 15 foreign investment projects with registered capital of 30 million USD, adjusted for 8 foreign investment projects with additional registered capital of 121, 3 million USD. The whole province has 193 newly established enterprises, up 2.1%, registered capital reached 1,640 billion VND, equaling 75.6% over the same period.

The investment and business environment of the province continues to improve. Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) in Bac Giang province ranked 30th out of 63 provinces and cities, up 3 places compared to 2016.

5. State budget revenue and public investment management:
