Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan The Tuan and his partner signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in exporting agricultural products to the US

On the occasion of the visit to the ASEAN - US Special Summit; working visit to the United States and the United Nations by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, on May 16 (local time), in San Francisco (USA), Vietnam Airlines cooperated with Saigontourist Group and Thien Minh Group to organize a "Conference to promote investment, trade, and tourism between Vietnam and the US".
Mr. Phan The Tuan and partners handed over a memorandum of cooperation.
 

Attending were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and members of the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation; US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc E. Knapper; large enterprises in the field of commerce and tourism in the United States. Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee Phan The Tuan attended the event.

With the theme "Rediscovering Vietnam", the conference is an opportunity for American partners and customers to learn about typical aviation services, tourism, products, goods, and agricultural products and Vietnam's strength; creating a bridge for Vietnamese and US businesses to expand cooperation, promote investment and trade in the coming time, contributing to strengthening the long-term relationship and promoting the economic development of the two countries.

 

Mr. Phan The Tuan introduced lychee and agricultural products to the participants of the event.

 

At the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, leaders of Vietnamese ministries and agencies, US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc E. Knapper, and leaders of San Francisco witnessed organizations and businesses. The country awarded a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in various fields. Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee Phan The Tuan, representatives of Vietnam Airlines and Emission Resources (USA) presented a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in exporting litchi and agricultural products to the US.
